Would you like to help our area bears and Bear Smart?
Bear Smart Durango is encouraging the public to host barbecues at home or work with friends, families or coworkers as informal fundraising events to support the local bear cause.
Host a backyard barbecue this summer, now through September. The first 25 sign-ups receive a coupon for 2 free mixer six-packs from Star Liquors, as well as Bear Smart beer koozies and other SWAG for your BBQ. Recommended donation $20/person.
Because we’re Bear Smart, we’ll even clean your grill for you afterwards!
