Electric Fencing for Bears Workshop in Hermosa
Gallagher and Bear Smart Durango host a hands-on workshop on setting up electric fencing for keeping bears out of beehives and fruit trees, Wednesday, August 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the home of Jack and Lori Peterson, 31411 US Highway 550, in Hermosa (map below).
This demonstration by Dale Klotz, Territorial Manager for Gallagher, is free and open to the general public and will be of special interest to beekeepers and residents desiring to exclude bears from fruit trees, chickens, livestock, compost and more.
