Hike in Bear Country with Bear Smart-JUL 8

Join Bear Smart Durango on Tuesday, July 8, from 5:30 PM – 7PM for an informative hike in bear country in Perins Peak SWA. Attendees should leave with a better understanding of black bears, the natural foods bears need to survive in the wild, using bear spray and human-bear conflict.

Attendees are asked to meet west of town at the entrance to Perins Peak SWA (gravel parking lot immediately off Lightner Creek Rd. Carpooling is encouraged.
